I don’t care who Maryland gets, and how well they do, the way the athletic department handled this is pretty terrible. Not to mention straight-up tacky.

WSJ: USC is the big show - Pac-10 Blog - ESPN →
Wall Street Journal crunched some numbers and found out that USC bowl games draw the biggest audiences. Zing! Too bad they aren’t in bowls for at least another year. Thumbs down.
The kicker? “The ACC won’t like the numbers. Four of the worst draws hail from the conference: Clemson, Georgia Tech, NC State and Virginia.”
NC State. See that? The NC State team that got to go...
